Biography
Dr. Elizabeth Hollander specializes in 19th-century British and American literature, writing and the visual arts, narrative genres, artists' models, advanced composition, and maritime art. Her essays on models, aestheticism, and Gothic narrative have appeared in Victorian Literature and Culture, The Oxford Encyclopedia of Aesthetics, The Dictionary of Artists' Models, Annals of Scholarship, Representations, and Raritan.
