Lehman serves as a cultural hub for both its students and the surrounding community. Home to the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts, the Lehman College Art Gallery, and Lehman Stages, the college cultivates strong ties with the Bronx community, providing opportunities for both students and the general public to experience a range of artistic performances, from art shows and philharmonic concerts to theater productions and stand-up comedy.

This is a virtual event. This Speaker Series will be hosted by the CUNY Institute for Health Equity in collaboration with the Leonard Lief Library, the Department of Health Promotion & Nutrition Sciences, the School of Business, and the Office of Campus Life at Lehman College. Guest speaker will be Dr. Jola Ajibade of Emory University whose work pulls from many spheres, including Political Ecology, Social Justice, Women's Studies, Health sciences, Philosophy, and Human Rights.
