Individual Counseling

  • Available to all registered Lehman students.

About Individual Counseling

  • Weekly sessions focus on specific issues that affect academic, personal and social functioning
  • Counseling is an active process, with both the student and counselor participating
  • If long-term therapy and/or medication is recommended, students will be referred to a community mental health provider

Groups

  • Meet weekly during the Fall and Spring semesters
  • Supportive and educational, covering various topics
  • Typically last 45-75 minutes
  • Free, confidential, and open to all registered Lehman College students

Campus-wide Events

  • Offered throughout the Fall and Spring semesters

Mindfulness Resources

  • Free membership available to The 10-Minute Mind, an app-based mindfulness program that sends you daily meditations (sign up with your CUNY email)
