Connecting mind, body, community, and culture.

Our programs prepare students for a variety of artistic, technical, and administrative roles in the performing arts. In addition, we offer pathways into the teaching profession and graduate programs in the performing arts. Our curricula and our location in New York City make it possible for students to engage with working artists and pursue career-building internships with established not-for-profit and commercial arts organizations.

Navigating a changing world and job market will require self-directed, creative thinkers who can adapt and learn new skills. The balance of academic study and practical application prepares students to forge their own paths and provides multiple entry points into the professional world. Our approach to learning and creation is holistic and recognizes the interconnectedness of the mind and body and the importance of community and cultural identity.
