Lehman College and the CUNY Mexican Studies Institute share this heartfelt statement about the deadly crash of the Mexican Navy ship Cuauhtémoc into the Brooklyn Bridge:

“We are deeply saddened by this terrible tragedy. Just days ago, we listened with joy to the dreams and aspirations of the Cuauhtémoc cadets. Today, we join in mourning, send our heartfelt condolences to their families, and wish a full and speedy recovery to those who were injured.”
