College rankings continue to roll in, and Lehman College is earning top marks across multiple national lists for value, academics, and student outcomes. The Wall Street Journal has ranked Lehman No. 7 on its "America's Best Value Colleges" list, following last week's Niche.com  numbers that put Lehman at No. 2  above Columbia University in "Best Value Colleges in the New York City Area"; among the "Top 10 Public Universities in New York"; and No. 7 for "Best Colleges for Accounting and Finance in New York."
In U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best Colleges rankings, Lehman tied for No. 6 in "Top Performers on Social Mobility" among Regional Colleges North and ranked No. 13 in "Top Public Universities" in the Regional Universities North category.

Last month, Washington Monthly listed Lehman among its 25 Best-in-Class Colleges, No. 14 in Master’s Universities, No. 7 for "Best Four-Year HSIs", and No. 6 "Best Bang for the Buck – Northeast." What's more, Lehman ranks No. 3 on two of Forbes's  lists: “25 Colleges With the Highest Payoff” and "Best Online Colleges of 2025."

Earlier this summer, Money ranked Lehman No. 5 among public mid-sized colleges on its 2025 list of Best Colleges, awarding the College a 4.5 out of 5 for affordability, quality, and outcomes.

Each of these rankings highlights Lehman’s commitment to delivering high-impact, affordable education that drives real outcomes for its students.
