Suggested Plans for Residential Students

Lehman College offers meal plans for residents of The Lehman Grand as well as commuters. All plans are optional for all students. Each plan may be used at three dining locations on campus; The Underground Lounge, Harmony Café, and Carman Café; as well as grab-and-go stations within those locations.
Notes:
  • Students can choose only one plan per semester.
  • All purchases are final. No refunds, cancellations, or exchanges. Unused meal swipes are forfeited, however, Dining Dollars may be rolled over to the next semester.

Lightning Essential

$1,405/semester
  • 75 Meals/Swipes per Semester (~1/day)
  • No rollover of unused meals swipes 
  • $400 Dining Dollars per semester to use on campus or with affiliated vendors
  • Dining Dollars may be replenished
  • Unused Dining Dollars may be rolled over; no refunds

Lightning Standard

$1,650/semester
  • 150 Meals/Swipes per Semester (~2/day)
  • No rollover of unused meals swipes
  • $200 Dining Dollars  per semester to use on campus or with affiliated vendors
  • Dining Dollars may be replenished
  • Unused Dining Dollars may be rolled over; no refunds

Lightning Plus

$1,975/semester
  • 225 Meals/Swipes per Semester (~3/day)
  • No rollover of unused meals swipes
  • $100 Dining Dollars per semester to use on campus or with affiliated vendors
  • Dining Dollars may be replenished
  • Unused Dining Dollars may be rolled over; no refunds

Lightning Advanced 

$2,350/semester
  • 225 Meals/Swipes per Semester (~3/day)
  • Two (2) guest meal passes per month
  • No rollover of unused meals swipes
  • $400 Dining Dollars per semester to use on campus or with affiliated vendors
  • Dining Dollars may be replenished
  • Unused Dining Dollars may be rolled over; no refunds

Lightning Commuter 25

$285/semester
  • 25 meals/swipes per semester 
  • No Rollover of unused meals swipes
  • Option to enroll and replenish Dining Dollars

Lightning Commuter 50

$585/semester
  • 50 Meals/swipes per semester
  • No rollover of unused meals swipes
  • Option to enroll and replenish Dining Dollars

*Commuters may choose to enroll in any of the residential meal plans if they prefer more frequent dining.

Nutritional and Accessibility Standards

All meal plans meet the following standards: 

  • Availability of vegetarian and vegan meal options
  • Clear allergen identification and food labeling
  • Menu rotation to ensure variety
  • Alignment with general nutritional guidelines
