Philosophy Minor

A Philosophy minor (four courses, 12 credits) is an excellent complement to any major and helps students enhance their credentials. Students may choose a general Philosophy minor or one of five specialized Philosophy minors

Interdisciplinary Minors

The Minor in Critical and Transformative Thinking (four courses, 12 credits) provides students with the opportunity to specialize in courses centered on primarysource texts that address and express the history, philosophy, and experiences of members of underrepresented groups from the authors’ own points of view.

The Minor in Disability Studies (four courses, 12 credits) is particularly valuable for students majoring in fields which may lead to employment in service professions— majors such as Health Education and Promotion, Health Services Administration, Nursing, Therapeutic Recreation, Social Work, Sociology, Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, and Psychology.
