Hundreds of votes were counted, and the people have spoken! The name of Lehman’s new dorm is…“The Lehman Grand”!

Renovated especially for student life, the tower of the landmarked Dollar Savings Bank building offers shared apartment-style living for more than 180 students. Each spacious room comes furnished, with its own bathroom, free Wi-Fi, and views across The Bronx. Additional amenities include 24-hour security, kitchens, study space, a campus shuttle, and more.

The Art Deco-style building was constructed in 1932-33, with two subsequent additions, including the tower that holds the dormitory. Decades later it still dominates the intersection of Fordham Road and the Grand Concourse, and is visible for miles. Because of the building’s design, excellent preservation, and noted architect it was honored in 1994 with a historical landmark designation.
