A second cohort of Lehman students recently completed a five-month Leadership Education Administrative Rotation and Networking (LEARN) program at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx through a unique partnership between the College’s School of Business and NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. The internships—which include stipends and college credit—are among the many experiential learning opportunities offered by the School to help ensure students are well on their way to a career before they graduate.

Like medical school interns, LEARN participants rotate through departments across the hospital, including finance, hospital administration, human resources, and ambulatory care. There, they work with hospital leaders and get an up-close look at day-to-day operations. The program provides both a high-level view of how a hospital functions and targeted experience in specific areas of healthcare administration, allowing students to broaden their professional experience while learning more about careers in the field.

The program began with five interns in March 2025, expanded to seven in fall 2025, and will grow to 10 this semester.
