Lehman leads 'Reunited in Recreation'

Lehman’s School of Health Sciences, Human Services, and Nursing brought together the region’s therapeutic and community recreation specialists at the “Reunited in Recreation” conference, which drew more nearly 120 students, faculty, and practitioners from across CUNY and the City.
Alumna Cathy-Ann Branker-Diamond, director of Recreational Therapy at Kings Harbor Multicare Center and a graduate of Lehman’s B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation and MSEd in Recreation Education, delivered the keynote on career pathways.
Alumni, student, and staff presenters from Lehman included Suzette Ramsundar, Director of Campus Life, Clara Capellan, and Delida Torres.
Sessions covered skill development; leadership and professional development; inclusive design for neurodivergent youth; and stress management.
