Julissa Alvarez, center, leads a discussion on Latinas, financial literacy, and mindsets that can hold women back
The March episode of CUNY TV's 'Latinas' features a panel discussion of common challenges Latinas can face in the career world—and the skillsets and mindsets required for success—led by Lehman alumna, entrepreneur, and author Julissa Alvarez B.S. ’04 , MSW ’10, MSB ’12.
Alvarez was an ideal choice for this segment. She has founded two successful companies since graduating from Lehman and leads workshops on financial empowerment and wealth building. She is president of the Lehman College Alumni Association and serves on the Lehman College Foundation Board.
