Andrew Gold, assistant professor in the Lehman College School of Business and entrepreneurship advocate, was recently recognized at the “Your Entrepreneurial Evolution” (YEEvolution) event in Tampa, Florida for his outstanding service to veterans and small business owners. The award celebrates Gold’s continued efforts to support veterans and their families as they pursue entrepreneurship and navigate the challenges of launching their own businesses.
"I am so honored and humbled to have received this award," said Gold. "Thank you to Your Entrepreneurial Evolution for acknowledging the collective efforts we have made to support veterans and their families in realizing their entrepreneurial dreams. This recognition is a reminder that the work we do is making a difference in the lives of many."
One of Gold’s former students, Dewayne Kimble—founder of KMD89 VA Claims Consulting and organizer of the YEEvolution event—spoke to his impact.
“Over the past decade, I’ve seen Dr. Gold’s deep commitment to helping others, especially aspiring veteran entrepreneurs. His guidance helped make my business a success, and he’s done the same for countless others.”
Gold is already planning to ramp up his efforts to build an inclusive, empowered entrepreneurial ecosystem that helps veterans and community entrepreneurs take bold steps toward a brighter future.
"I am excited to take this work to the next level and help even more veterans gain the tools and support they need to succeed as entrepreneurs," he said.
