Associate Professor Tiffany DeJaynes, director of the Center for School/College Collaboratives at Lehman and PI for a new $8.4 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education to train  teachers who are fluent in two or more languages recently spoke to the Riverdale Press about the grant and the pressing need for bilingual teachers, especially in the Bronx.
