The Multimedia Center welcomes Lehman faculty and staff to come and experience our incredible facilities. Occupying 28,000 sq. ft. in Carman Hall, this state-of-the-art center is unique among CUNY colleges.
The MMC boasts the same equipment and setup that would be found at any network station. We are a High Definition facility for audio as well as video. We work with many faculty and students through courses that are given here, and we are always excited to have new faculty members come and see the facility and conceive of projects that will enhance their teaching.
One of our regular productions is "The Bronx Journal", written and produced by students under the guidance of Professor Miguel Perez as part of their production class. Here is a video clip produced by Anna Purves of the English Department on the allegory of Plato's Cave featuring former students, called Out of Plato's Cave. Everyone involved in creating this was connected to Lehman College, including a Scoring for Film student who composed the accompanying music.
