Shevonne Joseph

Why or what do you like at Lehman? I am a Lehman alumna who obtained both my bachelor's and master's degree here. I like that Lehman offers students the opportunity to pursue an education and accomplish goals that promote social mobility no matter who you are.
I earned my B.S. in Health Education and Promotion and an M.S.Ed. in Counselor Education. I aim to develop a strong relationship with students so we can work together to foster academic excellence. I am a first-generation college student who can attest to the challenges of that role as well as the benefits of obtaining a higher education. I enjoy supporting students and witnessing the joy on their faces when they accomplish their goals.
