For Transfer Students
You can seamlessly transition into any of these programs during any semester. We encourage you to explore our course offerings and connect with an undergraduate academic advisor to map out your transition and ensure your previous credits are applied efficiently.
Here are some helpful tips to ensure you are as prepared as possible when transferring to Lehman:
- → Calculus Preparation: We encourage students to have already completed Calculus I and II prior to transferring.
- → Campus Presence: Most upper-level Mathematics courses are taught in person, so be prepared to commute to campus.
- → Programming Skills: A basic knowledge of computer programming is highly recommended for all programs and strictly required for the BA in Pure Mathematics. If possible, complete this course before transferring.

1. Apply for Admission
If you haven’t applied to Lehman College yet, please go to the Admissions Office website for more information on transfer requirements and the application process.
2. Complete Onboarding
Once accepted, you will receive detailed information regarding your next steps. Please note that this process takes some time, so apply to transfer as early as possible!
3. Schedule Advising
You can schedule a departmental advising session only after your transfer credit evaluation (TCE) is complete and you have finished the college onboarding process.
