The Evalyn and Stephen Milman Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarship for Innovation in Teaching Program
The Evalyn and Stephen Milman Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarships for Innovation in Teaching are intended to recognize educator candidates who have demonstrated excellent academic performance and strong dispositions for being outstanding educators, and/or have already demonstrated leadership skills in a discipline (e.g., Early Childhood Education, Counselor Education, or Science Education). Additionally, having unique talents in the arts that can seamlessly be aligned and integrated into disciplinary curricular experiences are helpful, but they are not mandatory for scholarship application.
Generous donor, Evalyn Milman, who with her husband has made these scholarships possible, had been a school teacher earlier in her life, and she has expertise in integrating art and music into classroom teaching on many subjects.
