Welcome to the Department of Counseling, Leadership, Literacy and Special Education (CLLSE) at CUNY Lehman College. We offer master’s degrees in Counselor Education (Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling), a doctoral program, master’s degrees and advanced certificates in Educational and Organizational Leadership, master’s degrees and advanced certificates in Special Education, a master’s degree and advanced certificate in Special Education, and we are developing an undergraduate degree in Special Education, and Master’s in Higher Education Student Affairs Counseling. Teacher and Leader Education programs are accredited by the Council on the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). The Counselor Education: School Counseling program is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). The Counselor Education: Clinical Mental Health Counseling program is in the application process for CACREP.
