The Lehman Language Center hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year that support academic collaboration, student achievement, and community engagement. It is vibrant hub that refelcts the international makeup of our programs and our student body.
Study Abroad Info Sessions
Faculty and Department Events
Faculty pedagogical workshops, professional development sessions, collaborative meetings, the annual Pi Delta Phi induction ceremony, student recognition events, and commencement celebrations are all held in the Language Center.
Language Clubs
Cultural Event
The Language Center hosts cultural events and celebrations that highlight traditions from around the world. These include celebrations such as Chinese New Year, Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), Día del Libro, Diwali, Journée internationale de la Francophonie, and many more.
Movie Screenings
Complete with popcorn and treats, the center hosts international movie afternoons and film series featuring Italian, French, and Spanish-language films. These events are often integrated with language courses, but all are welcome.

Please note that once the reservation has been accepted and finalized, the Language Center will list the event on its webpage. If you provide a flyer for the event, it will also be posted on social media.
