Asako Tochika

Asako Tochika coordinates the Japanese Program as well as other non-Romance languages.  She is also the COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) coordinator for Lehman and offers training and consultation for those faculty members who are interested in implementing COIL in their courses. Since 2024, she has been offering a summer study abroad program, which provides students with a unique experience that blends three weeks of COIL at home with two and a half weeks of in-person collaborative learning with our partner students at Osaka Metropolitan University in Japan.
