Our Mission
Our mission is to provide affordable and quality health care to Lehman students and to educate our patients about preventive and acute health issues. We strive to arm our students with the skills they need to improve and manage their health to achieve optimal academic and personal success.
General Information
At the Student Health Center, the health care needs of our students are treated with respect, integrity, and compassion. When you call for an appointment, we strive to see you as quickly as possible. Your lifestyle, stress factors, and cultural indicators are part of the treatment plan that your health care provider develops with you. Care and treatment are confidential. Your medical records are kept securely and your file will only be released with your written authorization. When your treatment requires more than we can offer, we provide community-based referrals.
Eligibility and Cost
The Student Health Center is a primary care facility available to all Lehman College students with a validated I.D. Most of the services are free of charge, while some have a small fee.
Schedule an Appointment
Students can make an appointment to see the Nurse Practitioner and for other support services by visiting the Health Center in-person, calling the Health Center at 718-960-8900 or by emailing med.requirements@lehman.cuny.edu. While appointments are highly recommended, walk-in’s are also welcome when the center is open.
