Pre-Nursing/Nursing academic advisement is part of the Office of Undergraduate Academic Advisement that works closely with the School of Health Sciences, Human Services & Nursing (HS2N). The Nursing Undergraduate Program incorporates liberal arts and professional education courses along with a humanistic approach leading to a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nursing.

The Three Programs Offered Are:

Accelerated (Generic)   Traditional (Generic)   R.N. to B.S.

Pre-Nursing is not an official degree program, but rather a preparatory track. It is designed to help students complete the prerequisite coursework required for application to the Nursing major at Lehman College. Students receive dedicated support from Pre-Nursing/Nursing academic advisors, who provide guidance on course selection, academic planning, and eligibility for the Nursing program. While advisors do not grant course permissions, they collaborate closely with the Nursing department to assist students admitted to the program in fulfilling any remaining general education requirements and addressing academic concerns.
