READMIT

The Onboarding Advisement Office ensures that our readmit students have a smooth return to Lehman College. Our dedicated Onboarding Academic Advisors offer specialized support that takes our returning students from the point of readmission, all the way through registration for their first semester back, offering personalized academic advisement and support to overcome common enrollment barriers.

You are considered a readmit student if you previously attended Lehman College, did not earn a degree, and now wish to return to complete your studies.

Start Here: Let's Identify Your Next Step

If you were not academically dismissed and have been away from Lehman for three or more semesters, you will need to submit a Readmit Application. Instructions for completing and submitting the application can be found under the "Readmit Application" section. After submitting, check your email for updates regarding your readmission status.

If you have questions about the readmission process, please contact undergraduate.readmission@lehman.cuny.edu.

If you attended another college after leaving Lehman, you must also request official transcripts from every institution attended.

If you were academically dismissed, your first step is to submit a readmission appeal. Visit the Appeals FAQ page for detailed instructions. Appeals are submitted through SM Apply.

For additional support, please contact the Office of Academic Standards and Evaluation at academic.standards@lehman.cuny.edu.

If you attended another institution after leaving Lehman, official transcripts must also be submitted.

If you have already been readmitted for the upcoming semester, congratulations and welcome back!

You are ready to move forward with onboarding and registration. See the next section below for guidance on accessing your accounts, meeting with your advisor, and next steps to enroll.
