Brightspace is Coming!

A new Learning Management System (LMS) is coming to Lehman College. Beginning in the summer of 2025, all Lehman College courses will be taught on Brightspace, replacing Blackboard. All CUNY campuses are making the switch, several already have. 

We want to make sure you know:

• All your current classes will be automatically migrated to Brightspace. NOTHING WILL BE LOST in the transition.
• For courses more than two years old, IT will assist in migrating your work.
• After the switch, Blackboard will still be accessible for a limited time to make sure you transfer or download all your information and documents.

1. Start with CUNY Live training
2. Continue with the hands-on sessions from Lehman IT (schedule coming)
3. Benefit from individual course design consultations with the Center for Teaching and Learning (registration coming)

You can also enhance your experience with peer support from the Lehman’s Faculty Mentors/Brightspace Ambassadors and make use of the Brightspace Guided Training Program.
