As we reach the halfway point of the semester, it’s a perfect time to pause, reflect, and celebrate our accomplishments and progress in mathematics. Mathematics, while often perceived as intimidating, is a field that each of us encounters in some form in our daily lives—whether we’re conscious of it or not. From budgeting expenses, analyzing data, or even the geometry we observe in nature, math has an undeniable presence in the world around us.

This roundtable discussion offers an informal, welcoming space to come together as a community, share our personal experiences with math, and reflect on our academic journey. We’ll explore how mathematics fits into our individual paths, not just as a subject in the classroom but as a tool and perspective that shapes our thinking and problem-solving skills in life. This is also an opportunity to connect with one another, gain new insights, and perhaps see math from a different angle—one that highlights its accessibility, relevance, and potential to inspire.

Join us as we celebrate the progress we've made, share challenges we’ve overcome, and consider the broader impact of mathematics beyond the textbook. Together, let’s discover how math is not just an academic subject but a language that we all share and can use to understand the world more deeply.
