College and Community Service

Services to the college and the broader community are a point of pride for the Division of Enrollment Management. The division’s commitment to service is not only foundational to our daily operations but also in advancing the college’s mission of academic excellence, access, and community engagement.

Each year, an ever-growing number of staff members within the division actively participate in service activities that span the college, the larger university system, and their local communities. These contributions reflect a deep-seated culture of care and collaboration. Staff members serve on college governance bodies, lead and support committees focused on student success, and volunteer as presenters and facilitators at both college-sponsored and community-based events. Their efforts extend beyond the campus, contributing meaningfully to local initiatives throughout New York City and the lower-Hudson Valley.

Our commitment to service is not incidental; it is strategic and vital. As Lehman College continues to evolve in response to the needs of its diverse student population and the shifting landscape of higher education, the Division of Enrollment Management remains at the forefront, ensuring that service is embedded in every facet of its work.
