Terry Seymore-Collins

Terry Seymore-Collins, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a licensed and certified New York State Speech-Language Pathologist for over 29 years. She graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University in 1993 with a degree in Speech-Language Pathology. In the past, she serviced children in New York City Department of Education as a Speech Improvement Teacher and as an Evaluator. She worked in a Pediatric Clinic to service children with speech-language and hearing impediments, Rehabilitation Centers for mentally challenged adults, Mommy and Me Programs, and Early Intervention Center-Based Programs. 
She is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Lehman College Speech and Hearing Center teaching Graduate students to become Speech-Language Pathologists. She is a Contractor/Business Owner for Early Intervention to teach children from birth to 3 years old to communicate with their family/peers appropriately. She loves interacting with the community in NYC, Westchester, and Long Island to teach them strategies on how to strengthen their children’s communication. Early Intervention is her passion to see children from birth to 3 years old enter into typical preschools. Terry is a member of the American Speech-Hearing Association, the New York State Speech Hearing Association, and the National Black Association for Speech-Language and Hearing for over 29 years.
