Dr. Leslie Grubler

Dr. Leslie Grubler is Director of Clinical Education and Clinical Services at Lehman College, CUNY, a proud Hispanic- and minority-serving institution. A speech-language pathologist, consultant, and advocate with nearly three decades of therapeutic experience, Dr. Grubler is committed to advancing culturally responsive and disability-affirmative care for children, families, and communities.

Her justice-informed leadership has guided advocacy from New York City Hall to Albany to Capitol Hill, while her scholarship and national presentations highlight equity, supervision, and inclusive clinical education. Dr. Grubler currently serves as Vice President of Organizational Advancement on the CAPCSD Board of Directors, monitoring officer of CAPCSD’s DEIB Committee, and as Director of Speech and University Labs on the NYSSLHA Board. She also serves on NYSSLHA’s Governmental Affairs Committee, has served as topic chair at the NYSSLHA Convention for four consecutive years, and previously represented New York State on ASHA’s Advisory Council.

Dr. Grubler earned her Ed.D. in Executive Leadership in Social Justice in 2022. Her research and professional practice center on representation in CSD education and professions, in addition to Early Childhood care and Autism and Neurodivergence, with a focus on equity-driven, culturally responsive, and disability-affirmative approaches rooted in collaboration, relationship, and meaningful inclusion.
