Biography

Dr. Mine Doyran is a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Business Innovation at Lehman College, CUNY. She holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from Iona College and a PhD in International Relations with a focus on International Political Economy from SUNY-Albany. At Lehman, she teaches courses such as Strategic Management, Managerial Economics, and International Business Management. Her research interests include corporate governance, international corporate strategy, and business-government issues. Dr. Doyran has received notable awards including the CUNY Academy Feliks Gross Endowment Award and the Irene Hammerbacher Memorial Award. Her book, Financial Crisis Management and the Pursuit of Power: American Preeminence and the Credit Crunch (Routledge, 2013, 2016), analyzes regulations addressing corporate governance failures in major US financial institutions. Previously, she lectured at Metropolitan College of New York, worked as a junior data analyst in Albany, and taught at the Fashion Institute of Technology/SUNY. She is a member of the Latin American Studies Association, the Academy of International Business, and the Eastern Economic Association.
