Biography
Prof. Michael Gardner is both a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a New York State certified School Counselor having worked in group practices and NYC middle and high school public school settings. His research and writing interests are mental health counseling in K-12 schools; career development especially for children and adolescents of color with disabilities; sexuality counseling; and multicultural and social justice issues in counseling to support youth and families of color.
