Biography
Michelle Bell, Psy.D. (she/her/ella) is a Substitute Assistant Professor in Counselor Education at Lehman College. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) and bicultural psychologist she utilizes a family systems lens in her clinical work which focuses on children and families. Her areas of academic interest include parenting and the development of culturally competent models of care. Dr. Bell has worked in a variety of clinical settings including private practice, hospitals, community-based clinics and within the family court system. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bell is also an APA (American Psychological Association) Representative to the United Nations in NYC with a focus on advocacy for children and families in migration.
