Biography
Columba De La Parra earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Puerto Rico in May 2014. She has been a postdoctoral research fellow at the New York University of Medicine for the past four years. Dr. De La Parra has received grant funding for her research from the American Cancer Society and the Department of Defense. With a focus on cancer research, spe-cifically breast cancer, she has authored many publications as well as presented at different speaking engagements.
