Biography

Bethania Ortega became Interim Vice President for Administration and Finance in August of 2025 after previously serving as Assistant Vice President of Budget, Finance and Business Operations. A graduate of Lehman College (Computing and Management), Vice President Ortega first started working at the College in 2000 as a Human Resources Assistant. Over the past 25 years she has worked her way up the ladder, holding titles in the Office of Budget and Planning, including Director.

Vice President Ortega has been recognized by Lehman College with a Presidential Award and a Productivity Award from CUNY.
