The General Accounting Office at Lehman College is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of financial accountability, transparency, and service to support the institution's academic and administrative goals. Our office plays a critical role in the accurate recording and reporting of all funds received from students (or for students) in connection with tuition and fees, working collaboratively with the Offices of the Bursar, Financial Aid and the Vice President of Student Affairs.

Additionally, the office maintains responsibility for the accurate recording and reporting of non-tax levy funds, which are neither state-legislated nor distributed through the University’s Central Office. These include financial stewardship for organizations such as the Lehman College Auxiliary Enterprise Corporation, Lehman College Association for Campus Activities, Lehman College Art Gallery, and the Student Child Care Center. This responsibility reflects our commitment to transparency, compliance and accountability in all areas of financial management.

Guided by a dedication to fiscal responsibility, compliance, and operational efficiency, the General Accounting Office provides timely and transparent financial reporting to empower informed decision-making across the college.
