How to Apply to Lehman's Undergraduate Nursing Programs: Traditional and Accelerated
Prospective candidates for the nursing program must thoroughly review the admissions criteria. This program is intended for Pre-Nursing applicants. Admission is competitive and not guaranteed.
The admissions process consists of two phases:
Phase one
Involves meeting the minimum GPA in the required science prerequisite courses and the minimum HESI-A2 exam scores.
Please note: Although courses can be repeated in accordance with college policy, for consideration in determining admission to the Nursing Program, the first grade earned will be used to determine eligibility. Grades from retaken courses will not be considered. Grades of P/F or CR/NC will be considered as first attempts.
Phase Two
Entails an invitation to sit for the dosage calculation exam administered by Lehman's Nursing Department. Final admission decisions are based on the comprehensive evaluation of all three components.
