Masters Degree Programs

Master of Science in Education, Literacy Education All Grades

The  33-credits program typically takes 2-3 years to complete and leads to a Master of Science in Education degree.

Master of Science in Education, Literacy Studies Grades 5-12

The 36-credit program typically takes 3 years to complete and leads to a Master of Science in Education degree. 

M.S. in Education, Dual Certification in Literacy Studies and Special Edu All Grades

The dual certification is designed for teachers who have already had an initial certification and it takes 3-4 years to complete.

This one-yearone-year program leads to an advanced certificate in Literacy, All Grades.

Literacy Middle Childhood and Adolescence

Designed for individuals in educational and nontraditional educational settings, this two semester (9-credit) program develops knowledge of evidence-based practice grounded in the principles of the Science of Reading. This advanced certificate program does not lead to state teacher licensure.
