Dr. Shirley D. Bishop has taught various matriculated courses in human resource management, labor relations, organizational behavior, business ethics, international business, diversity, and management fundamentals. Before teaching, Dr. Bishop was a Business Developer, Senior Director of HR/Labor Relations, Senior Director of HR/Office Services, Chief Privacy Officer, and a Director of HR, Office Services, Purchasing, Security, and Facilities. She also served on a Governing Board of Directors, was an Editor-in-Chief, and published in four editions of The MSILR Link. Her doctoral research involved “Strategies to Enhance Creative Performance in Creative Industry Firms.” Dr. Bishop is the Faculty Advisor for the award-winning Lehman College Student Chapter of SHRM, where she provides ongoing strategic leadership and direction for the Chapter’s Executive Board and Directors. Dr. Bishop is also the Director of the Master of Science in Business (MSB) Degree Program at Lehman College.
