A collaboration between Lehman’s Career Exploration and Development Center (CEDC) and the Theatre program drew over 60 students and alumni to an information and networking event geared toward offstage theatrical and performing arts careers.
Moderated by Charlee Stallings '24 and featuring panelists from The Broadway League’s Career Pathways Program, the Friday April 25 gathering offered attendees a behind-the-scenes look at Broadway and introduced them to career paths they might not have known existed.
“It was hugely successful,” said Navisha Maharaj, associate director of the CEDC.
Career Pathways is a pilot program of The Broadway League, and Lehman is only the second college invited to participate so far. The program’s goal is to expand students’ understanding of the field and the wide range of opportunities to build a meaningful career in the arts.
