Professor Mario Gonzalez-Corzo (Finance, Information Systems & Economics) spoke to Gothamist about the positive economic impact of record-high Wall Street bonuses in 2024—an average of $275K, or three times the median household income for residents of New York City. 

“A nice part of it gets spent in the city, in entertainment, in hospitality, in the food industry, in the gaming industry, in the hotel industry,” he said.
