Continuing Education Certificate Programs

Alert Notifications

All continuing education and workforce students:

If you are enrolled in a 100% online course this policy does not apply to you.

If you are registered for in-person or hybrid classes (in person and online) please review CUNY’s vaccination mandate before accessing the Lehman College campus, including CUNY on the Concourse (COTC).

To access campus for in-person or hybrid classes students must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster, if eligible. Cleared4 is our secure system for uploading covid-19 vaccine documentation for approval. You must upload proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster shot (if eligible) into the Cleared4 system and be approved by the Campus Location Vaccine Authority (LVA) before attending your in-person class.

When you register for in-person or hybrid classes, you will receive an email from no-reply@cleared4work.com. If you have not received the email, we can assist you in uploading your proof of vaccination.

If you have submitted and received approval for an exemption, you will need to schedule a COVID test at Lehman College or another CUNY school using Cleared4work and receive a negative result before attending your next in-person class.

Course Withdrawals

If you do not provide proof of vaccination or exemption before your in-person or hybrid class starts, you will be withdrawn from all of your classes. If you have questions or need to apply for an exemption, please email your Campus Location Vaccine Authority (LVA) Liaisons.

For questions or assistance regarding the withdrawal process contact ce@lehman.cuny.edu

Protocol if Exposed or Positive

CUNY follows the CDC’s recently issued guidance adjusting the recommended quarantine and isolation times for those who test positive for COVID-19 or who come into close contact with someone who tests positive. Students who come into close contact with someone with COVID-19 should base their approach to quarantine – if it is needed, when to end it, and when to test – on vaccine status, including when they were vaccinated, when they received their booster(s), or if they are currently unvaccinated. Please follow CDC’s guidance on quarantine here.

If you are fully vaccinated and have received a booster shot, or if you tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 90 days, and you come into close contact with someone with COVID-19 you do not need to quarantine and can return to work or class. You will need to wear a mask for 10 days from the date of your last close contact and get tested at least 5 days after the close contact. You must wear a mask in this situation! Although CUNY's mask policy has been lifted as of March 7,individuals who have come into close contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19 must still wear a mask for the aforementioned period of time

Students who test positive for COVID-19 should isolate themselves for at least 5 days. When to test for COVID-19, end isolation, and return to in-person class depends on whether or not the person develops symptoms or is severely ill. Please follow CDC’s guidance on isolation here.

Reporting Positive Cases

Any student or campus visitor who tests positive for COVID-19, or who learns that they have had contact with an individual who has COVID-19, should self-report to the College regardless of where they received their COVID test. You can do so using the following email addresses, after which you will receive further instruction. Anyone who tests positive will need to show proof of a negative PCR test before they may access campus again.
