ABOUT

The Anchored in the Liberal Arts (ATLAS) program plays a crucial part in helping freshmen and transfer students become part of the tapestry of the Lehman community while introducing them to transformative texts from diverse backgrounds. ATLAS emphasize how critical thinking in the Liberal Arts can provide an essential foundation for professional careers.

Seminar Courses

During these seminar courses, students will learn about modern and contemporary BIPOC voices and take part in conferences that can boost their academic resume while earning monetary rewards for their scholarship.
Students are encouraged to take one ATLAS course a semester and are able to take as many or as few seminars as they’d like during their time at Lehman.
