Center for Student Advisement and Success
The Center for Student Advisement and Success assists undergraduate students in establishing and
achieving graduation goals by providing student-focused, holistic advisement from onboarding to persistence through graduation. Its creation allows Lehman College to achieve a long-held goal of offering every student a dedicated advising point of contact at all stages of their academic journey. Within this Center, academic advisors are available to guide students whether they are new to Lehman, a current student, or in their final year of degree attainment. In collaboration with academic departments and administrative offices, advisors develop and maintain a coordinated and comprehensive approach to student success.

Aligns all undergraduate students with an assigned advisor based on their declared area of Interest. Working collaboratively, advisors guide and support students as they progress through their first semester toward the successful completion of their Baccalaureate degrees. |
Provides advisement and support to students during the final year of degree attainment. The Graduation Specialists (GSs), in collaboration with department chairs and faculty advisors, are responsible for the advisement and degree conferral of students In their cohorts. |
