The Pathways to Student STEM Success Program (PTS3) is a five-year collaboration between Bronx and Hostos Community Colleges and Lehman that engages low-income and Hispanic students in activities that boost their success in STEM fields. It has become a model strategy that advances the mutual goals of the participating institutions and their aspiring STEM majors.

In addition to the program’s innovations in student support, instruction, and curriculum, benefits of PTS3 also extend to faculty members at collaborating institutions. Read more about Pathways to Student STEM Success.

Submit to SUM: a new CUNY Website for Faculty and Students
SUM was developed to advance the goals of Connected CUNY, and features scholarship, research and creative work by CUNY faculty and students, distilled for a wide range of audiences--elected officials, the media, prospective students, and faculty. Submissions will be considered based on news value and relevance to a general audience.

Free Admission to the Guggenheim Museum
Through the generous support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is offering free admission (plus one guest) to Lehman College ID cardholders.
Lehman is one of five CUNY institutions that was recently selected to participate in this pilot program, which is open to all Lehman faculty, staff, and students for the next two years. Present your valid ID at the admissions and membership desk for your complimentary ticket(s).

Faculty Achievements
Music professor Penny Prince received a THRIVE training grant from the College and Community Fellowship, which is providing three days of training plus continued assistance to help make Lehman a more informed and supportive environment for reentering students. There are 30 participants representing every school and department.
