Special Announcement on Final Exams for Students

If you are participating in a class that is completely online or, if you will be taking your Final Exam online, please take note of the following. First, make sure that the internet connection that you are on is stable. You will always be assured of a good connection if your computer is connected to the internet with a data-jack as opposed to a wireless connection. Remember, a wireless connection is radio-frequency and is subject to interference. Next, before you start your assessment, REBOOT or RESTART your computer. If you are taking your test on a public computer, as in the Open Center or Library, MAKE SURE THAT YOU RESTART THE COMPUTER. Finally. DO NOT HIT THE BACK BUTTON ON YOUR BROWSER. If you push the "Back Arrow" on your Computer, Blackbord will accept that command as "Test Complete" and log you out. Good luck on your exams! If problems arise, please contact the Help Desk at: 718-960-1111
