Biography

Jane K. Cleland is the author of the Agatha-award winning books on the craft of writing, Mastering Suspense, Structure & Plot and Mastering Plot Twists. In addition, she wrote Business Writing for Results, originally published by McGraw Hill, as well as the multiple award-nominated and long-running IMBA best selling Josie Prescott Antiques Mystery series, all published by St. Martin's Minotaur and Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine. Jane also chairs the Wolfe Pack's literary awards, granted in partnership with Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine.

Over a 20+ year career as a corporate trainer, Jane designed and developed more than a dozen business communications, accounting, and risk management seminars for the American Management Association. She also designed, developed, and facilitated workshops and seminars for blue chip companies such as American Express, Pfizer, Pepsi, and PriceWaterhouse Coopers.
