Debbie Hamilton has taught at Lehman College since 2013 and at CUNY since 2010. She received her BA, in English and American Literature from New York University (NYU) and her MA in American Literature from Brooklyn College (CUNY). Her essay Labyrinth Syllabus was presented at a conference at BMCC entitled, “Transitions and Transactions: Literature Pedagogy in Community Colleges” and later published at McGraw Hill in 2012. She teaches classes in Edgar Allan Poe and Science as Literature with a focus on Longevity. Her current research explores Edgar Allan Poe’s only novel, Pym. Follow her on Facebook here.
